Dr. Dyer grew up in Ooltewah and graduated from The McCallie School in Chattanooga. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Vanderbilt
University in Nashville. Dr. Dyer also played baseball for the Commodores and was named to the All-SEC Academic Team at Vanderbilt. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Dental Science (MDS) from the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
Dr. Dyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Additionally, he is a member of many leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Dyer is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys various activities, including golf, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Janice, and their children, Brooke and Cooper. They are members of First Centenary United Methodist Church.
